Snow Day

The girls had so much fun in the snow!! Kendall stayed out and played with the neighbors until she got hit in the mouth with a snowball and came home! It was so pretty while it lasted. Here are some pictures of my Snow Angels!

********UPDATE***********

I am happy to announce that Emma used the potty all day today! Not one accident! Did not have to change a diaper one time all day! It was great!! I knew she could do it!!!

Today Kendall's guinea pig passed away. She had been sick at the beginning of the week but we thought she was getting better. We decided that she needed to be in a separate cage so that she could get well. I headed over to Heather's this morning to get the other cage and some food for her and while I was out Todd called and said to hold off because he did not think she was going to make it another hour or so. We had a hard time deciding what to tell Kendall, she is so sensative. Todd thought it would be best to go ahead and tell her so she could have some time with her in case she did die. Kendall held her and they played a little bit. Todd called me back and told me that he went ahead and told Kendall and that she was 'cool' with it. Well......when I got home she greeted me at the top of the steps sobbing holding a wipe box that said I luve you Bolt on it. I said what is wrong and she said, Bolt is going to die and this is her box. After a few minutes Todd came back and told me that she was gone. He left it up to Kendall where we would bury her and she even helped out.

Bolt was the sweetest thing and we will really miss her! I hate that we only had her a month. So sad!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

We Survived

Well......we made it through the tonsil surgery! We have not gotten much sleep since then but we did make it. The first few days were pretty hard but she has been so good. I just feel so bad for her when she wakes up during the night. She keeps saying, my mouf hurts!!! She has to have her blanket on we and has to have a piece of it in her mouth to go back to sleep. Every night when she wakes up crying you hear a random Ahhhhhhhhh come out of Kendall's room. I guess that is her way of letting us know that she is tired of waking up every night to the sound of her sweet sisters screams!

Tonight we are making a mailbox for Kendall's valentine party tomorrow, that should be fun since I have not artistic ability what so ever! I will take pictures. Tomorrow we have a pretty busy day. My sweet husband is working day shift tomorrow and Emma and I will be doing a little valentine shopping. I also have to buy some make up before I scare everyone with my bare face.

My Letter is C!

One on my friends is playing a game where you are given a letter and you have to tell 10 things about yourself that start with that letter! Since I am really tired I am not sure if I will be able to do it but here goes nothing.....

3. There are too many CALORIES in both my favorite food and drink!

4. I have the CUTEST family in the world!!!

5. My middle names is CAROLYN.

6. My lips are very CHAPPED right now!

7. I just made Kendall some valentine COOKIES.

8. After 2 kids I think that I might be a little bit CRAZY!!

9. I have an obsession with CARS. I have had 6 cars since Todd and I have been together. He has had 2!

10. I have a very close relationship with my CELLphone! We have to be together all the time!

OK, there you go! 10 C things about me, I might read this after I have had some sleep and think that I have lost my mind!!

We are home!

We just got home and Emma is doing really well. Here are some pictures of her holding Bolt and watching Dora. Thank you so much for all of your prayers. She is such a trooper!

Tomorrow is the big day!

Tomorrow is the day of Emma's tonsil surgery. She will also be getting tubes put in her ears. I decided that I would get her whatever she wants for dinner since I know it will be hard for her to eat her favorites for a while. For now all she will say that she wants for dinner is Operation fruit snacks! We will see if she changes her mind. We went to Target and bought her some new pajamas. The nurse suggested bringing her in them so that she would be comfortable when she gets back into the room and if she is alseep when we get home we can put her straight to bed. I wanted footie pajamas since it is supposed to be so cold all day tomorrow but as it seems footie pajamas are hard to find in Feb in a size 2T. Lucky for Emma because she got to get the Minnie Mouse pajama set that she wanted. We also ended up with a Dora night gown and a dinosuar that she named first Daddy and then Tricky. Who know what the name will be tomorrow.

When I found out that we were supposed to be there at 7:00 am I knew that we would not be able to take her to school. I decided I would ask her who she wanted to take her to school and see if it would be possible for them to take her. Well, she knew exactly who she wanted to take her. Uncle Jay my 34 year old single brother that has no idea what to do with a little girl. She also wanted him to make her lunch! She is so funny I called Jay and he said as long as he is in town he would be glad to do it. So, today I called him and he will be in town tomorrow and will be up bright and early taking Kendall to school. Boy would I like to be a fly on the wall during that car ride, he has no idea how many questions can be asked in a 10 minute drive, but he is about to find out. Needless to say, Kendall is thrilled about her ride tomorrow.

We should be home tomorrow sometime after lunch and I will try to update. Hope everyone has a good night and a wonderful Wednesday.
