Christmas and Catching Up

Ok, I know that it has been a long time since I posted anything. I guess this starts my New Year resolutions, to start blogging more among many other things that I will not bore you with right now.

Christmas was great. Kendall and Emma got so many great gifts this year. I would say tht their favorites right now are the horses and Emma loves her Baby Born to Swim and Kendall loves her new comforter and decorations and pink guitar. They both love to play the guitar, Kendall is really good at making up her own songs while Emma just sings......John jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt, His name is my name too!! I can not tell you how many times I have heard that song in one week! We missed seeing Tommy and Suzanne on Christmas but we could not get away in time to make it back to Nina's. They left the girls some really cute things and Kendall got a much needed book on manners that we will be reading every night! Thank you so much Tommy and Suzanne. Emma gave her paci to Santa on Christmas Eve, we packing them all up in a baggie and she kissed them goodbye. After a little crying she was ready for bed and has only asked about them a few times but is very proud to tell anyone that will listen that she gave her paci's to Santa and he was going to give them to a baby that did not have one! She is such a sweet baby!

In the past week we have just been cleaning and getting ready for the New Year! Todd has to work so it will be just me and the girls to ring in the New Year! I bet none of us will even make it to midnight. I sure we will have a wild night! Kendall is going to work with me tomorrow, she is so excited to go to the "city" (you know the one that is full of crime and who knows what else) and go into one of the big buildings. She has already packed a backpack to take so she has things to do. Some of the items in it include: a gumball machine (what the heck is she going to do with that), glitter, glue, sparkle paint brushes, a deer stuffed animal that she got for Christmas and some coloring books. Sounds like we are in for some fun. If you work with me and happen to be reading this I apologize in advance for what might take place tomorrow! I am just kidding, Kendall is a sweet little girl and I love her dearly!! I will let you know how it goes!

I will post the above mentioned new years resolution list after I have had a chance to think about it. Until then....here are some Christmas pictures~

This is what happens when stamps are left out in our house!!

Kendall and a friend were playing with stamps this day and decided to go outside. Emma found the open stamps and thought it would be better used as makeup!! She is a WILD girl!! The pictures of her holding her hands up is when she started saying, "Say Cheese Hands!" She thought her hands needed a little bit of encouragement to get them to smile! Silly girl!
